Maria Barreira Salgado

Maria Barreira Salgado is the Associate Coordinator of Human Capital at Afundación. Maria has previous experience working as a cultural manager and event organizer at Fundación Novacaixagalicia, where they were also responsible for relations with the public and local institutions in both Pontevedra and Ferrol. Before that, they worked as the head of publications at Fundación Caixa Galicia and as the director of protocol and communication at Editorial Galaxia, where they managed events, protocol, and institutional relations as well as media relations. Prior to that, they worked as a responsible bookstore keeper at Grupo Sargadelos.

Maria Barreira Salgado has a degree in Strategic Management of Public Relations from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya and a degree in Maria'spanic Philology from the UNED.

Maria Barreira Salgado reports to Miguel Ángel Escotet Álvarez, President. They are on a team with Pedro Otero Espinar - Managing Director, Jose Luis Vilanova DaCosta - General Coordinator of Support & Profitable Area, and Pilar Alves-Moreno - General Coordinator of Corporate & Institutional Social Responsibility.
