Helena Krusec

Helena Krusec is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in program management and venture initiatives, currently serving as Lead Program Manager for Capital Initiatives at AFWERX since November 2021. Helena's previous roles at AFWERX included Program Manager and Strategic Engagements Lead. Helena has also worked as a Defense Ventures Fellow at Andreessen Horowitz and held various positions at Capital Factory, including Senior Venture Partnerships Manager. Notable earlier roles include Vice President of Communications at Vericlave and Independent Contractor at Hagerty Consulting. Helena's educational background encompasses a Master’s Degree from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Michigan State University. Additionally, Helena participated in a semester abroad at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, focusing on International Relations and Affairs.
