Michael Grote has a diverse work experience in various finance roles. Michael started their career as an Internal Auditor at Omnicare in 1997, and then moved to ITW where they served as a Senior Internal Auditor and later as an Assistant Controller at ITW Shakeproof Industrial Products. Michael continued to climb the corporate ladder within ITW, working as a Controller at ITW Produx and then as a Controller at ITW Signode Service Business. In 2008, they became a Division Controller at ITW Finishing Equipment - Americas, where they played a key role in consolidating global financial results and reorganizing US operations. In 2011, they joined Davies Molding as a Vice President of Finance and achieved several accomplishments, including improving operating income and implementing cost-saving measures. Michael then moved on to serve as the Vice President of Finance at Marmon/Keystone LLC, where they implemented various financial strategies to drive growth and productivity. Following this, they held positions as the Vice President of Finance for Marmon Metal Services at The Marmon Group and Vice President of Finance at AFX Inc., where they focused on improving profitability, inventory management, and establishing banking relationships. Throughout their career, Michael has demonstrated strong financial expertise and leadership qualities.
Michael Grote attended the University of Cincinnati Carl H. Lindner College of Business from 1988 to 1995, where they obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. Additionally, they have a certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
