Bratipah Kioko (She/her)

Bratipah Kioko is a software developer with experience in various roles. Bratipah began their career as a Systems Assistant attachee at Kenya Deposit Insurance Corporation in July 2019 and worked there until September 2019. In 2021, they joined Andela as a Full-stack Intern web Developer from May to November. Bratipah then worked at Boostica Digital Marketing Agency as a Software Developer starting in October 2021. Currently, they are employed at AfyaRekod as a Software Developer, starting in February 2023.

Bratipah Kioko (She/her) began their education at Kenyatta University in 2018, where they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Public Policy and Administration. Bratipah'sstudies at Kenyatta University lasted until 2023.

In 2022, Bratipah participated in the KamiLimu Mentorship Program Cohort 7.0, focusing on Computer Software Engineering. Bratipah also enrolled in the ALX program during the same year, specializing in Software Engineering as a full-stack developer.

In 2021, Bratipah attended Chaptr Global to enhance their skills in backend web development, specifically in Python, Django Framework, JavaScript (jQuery), and CSS (Bootstrap, Tailwind).

Alongside their formal education, Bratipah has obtained various certifications. In 2022, they completed the Microsoft ADC Game of Learners Clinics for Internet of Things offered by Microsoft. In the same year, they also attained the Google IT Support Certificate through Coursera.

In 2021, Bratipah completed the Android Kotlin Fundamentals Course offered by Google Developers (DSC MOI UNIVERSITY). Additionally, they received the Moringa Prep certification from Moringa School in 2020.

Lastly, in 2020, Bratipah participated in the Build4SDG challenge organized by Developer Circles from Facebook & Andela. Bratipah also obtained the IDEAS FOR A BETTER WORLD: LEADING CHANGE THROUGH POLICY MAKING certificate offered by the British Council in the same year.
