Jérôme Pizel

Jérôme Pizel currently serves as the Data and Performance Manager at AFYREN, focusing on IT, OT, and cybersecurity since February 2023. Prior experience includes a role as an Industry 4.0 Engineer at BASF from October 2018 to February 2023, where responsibilities encompassed the design and implementation of digital solutions across various operational departments, maintenance of IT and OT infrastructure, and management of automation security projects. Earlier experience includes positions at EDF as a Control Systems Engineer and Instrumentation and Control Engineer, contributing to advanced technology in industrial and predictive maintenance systems for nuclear power plants. Jérôme began the career with internships at Snecma, Sagem DS, and SNCF, developing expertise in simulation, FPGA design, and maintenance of electronic systems. Jérôme holds a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Automatic and Industrial Electronics from Ecole nationale supérieure de l'Electronique et de ses Applications.
