Pratibha Thimmaraya

Pratibha Thimmaraya is an experienced educator with a diverse background in international school settings and significant expertise in teacher preparation and curriculum development. Currently serving as the Teacher Preparation Programme Coordinator at Aga Khan Academies since August 2017, Thimmaraya oversees a comprehensive 18-month training program for new teachers. In addition, Thimmaraya holds the position of Internship & Leadership Coordinator at the Aga Khan Academy Hyderabad and has previously facilitated in the MYP and DP Geo programs at Sreenidhi International School. With roles extending back to 2005, Thimmaraya has contributed to various educational institutions, including Indus International School and Niraj International School, focusing on interdisciplinary teaching and community engagement through the implementation of CAS projects. Thimmaraya's academic background includes a recent stint at Harvard Graduate School of Education and degrees in Life Sciences, Environmental Science, and Chemistry from Christ University and Christ College.
