Jawad Hussain

Jawad Hussain is an experienced professional in urban and regional planning, currently serving as a Habitat Resilience Planner at the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat (AKAH) Pakistan since November 2023. Prior to this role, Jawad worked as a Town Planner at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) for three months, contributing to the digitalization initiatives aimed at enhancing IT services in Islamabad. From October 2021 to October 2023, Jawad held the position of Manager Planning at PropSure Digital Solutions, where a detailed feasibility analysis for over 20 multi-storey building projects was conducted. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Manager Town Planning at Élan Partners (Pvt.) Ltd., and Junior Town Planner at City Pulse (Pvt) Ltd. Jawad’s educational background includes two master's degrees in Urban and Regional Development Planning and Management from TU Dortmund University and Development Planning and Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, along with a bachelor's degree in City/Urban, Community and Regional Planning from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
