Samiya Baig

Samiya Baig is an accomplished architect and researcher with a strong focus on sustainable design solutions and energy-efficient housing. Currently serving as a Researcher - Architect at the Aga Khan Agency for Habitat in Pakistan since January 2022, Samiya collaborates closely with communities to enhance living conditions in extreme climates. Prior experience includes roles as a Design Architect at Calibreon.international and as a Junior Architect with the Blue Group of Companies. Additionally, Samiya gained foundational experience as an Architecture Intern at Aga Khan Planning and Building Services in 2016. Samiya completed a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from the National College of Arts, graduating in 2018.
