Dr. Mariam M. is a highly experienced expert in climate change and nature-based solutions, currently serving as a Climate Change and Nature-based Solutions Expert at the Aga Khan Development Network and a Subject Matter Expert at ETH Zürich since early 2023. With a robust background in forest management and policy, Dr. Mariam has held various significant positions, including Quality Manager at UCS United Certification Systems LTD, International Forest Management Planning Specialist at FAO, and Policy Analyst at UNDP, among others. Dr. Mariam's academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Natural Resource Management and Policy from the University of Turku and a Master's Degree in International Forest Policy and Economy from the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences.
