Majed MOUSSA is an accomplished academic and researcher with extensive experience in the field of agriculture. Currently serving as Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at Hama University since September 2019, Majed has held various leadership roles within the same faculty, including Vice Dean and Head of the Department of Animal Production since August 2017. Majed's advisory expertise in poultry and livestock has been utilized at the Agha Khan Foundation in Syria since 2011, where responsibilities also included roles as Programme Officer in Rural Development and Animal Health. Additionally, Majed has been a Professor of Animal Physiology and Poultry Physiology at the University of Aleppo’s Faculty of Agriculture since July 2007. Majed MOUSSA holds a PhD in Quality and Security of Aliments from INP-ENSAT, France, and a Master's degree in Biology and Animal Production from the University of Rennes-1, France.
