Marcos Barrera Parrilla

Marcos Barrera Parrilla is currently the Chief Operating Officer at Aganova, a position they have held since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Ingeniatrics, where they served as the General Manager from August 2017 to March 2023, and as the Business Development Manager from May 2016 to August 2017. Before joining Ingeniatrics, they worked at Abengoa, where they held the role of Proposals and Business Development Manager (Abengoa Water USA) from November 2011 to May 2016, and the role of International Tender Manager (Befesa Agua) from February 2007 to November 2011. Marcos also worked at Detectar, S.A. as the Technical Manager from March 2004 to February 2007, and at the Fundación Centro de las Nuevas Tecnologías del Agua as the Project Manager from January 2003 to March 2004.

Marcos Barrera Parrilla began their education at Polytech Montpellier from 2000 to 2002, where they earned a degree in Water Engineering. Prior to that, they attended Universidad de Sevilla from 1993 to 2000, earning a degree in Chemical and Industrial Engineering. In 2014 to 2015, Marcos pursued a General Management Certificate at the Texas McCombs School of Business. Marcos'smost recent educational endeavor took place in 2019 to 2020 at San Telmo Business School, where they obtained a degree in Business Administration and Management, General, specifically the AD1 qualification.
