Samantha Zhang

Samantha Zhang is the Co-Founder of Agave. Samantha has over 10 years of experience in the field of design and data visualization.

Samantha started their career as an intern at Adobe in 2013, where they added urgent messaging into SEO meta data, lifted unit sales by 49% in the first week, and generated over 2,000 internal links. Samantha then moved on to CIC (Kantar Media, WPP Group) as an analyst from August 2011 to May 2012. After that, they interned at Microsoft MSN China from June 2009 to December 2009.

In 2014, Samantha became the Design Lead at Graphiq Inc. (formerly FindTheBest), where they were responsible for designing and developing data visualizations. During their time at Graphiq, the company was acquired by Amazon in May 2017.

After working at Amazon for 4 years, Samantha left to start their own company, Agave. Agave is a data visualization company that helps businesses make sense of their data.

Samantha Zhang has a Master of Science (M.S.) in Integrated Marketing Communications from Northwestern University and a B.A. in Communication from Fudan University. Samantha also has certification from Udacity in VR Developer Nanodegree and SAS in SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9.
