Jim Shamp is a seasoned communications professional with extensive experience in public relations and media outreach within the biotechnology sector. At the North Carolina Biotechnology Center, Jim Shamp held positions including Director of Public Relations, where responsibilities encompassed overseeing public outreach and education, managing contract writers, and providing strategic communications support for the state’s life-science community.
