Sean McAdams is an accomplished professional in plant molecular biology with extensive experience in trait discovery and transformation methodologies for crops, including maize and soybean. Currently, Sean serves as the Transformation Technology Center Leader at AgBiome, focusing on GM traits for insect tolerance. Previously at BASF, Sean held several leadership roles, culminating as the Plant Phenomics Team Leader, and managed teams involved in in planta trait discovery and bioassays for multiple crops. Early career experience includes leading maize and rice transformation initiatives at DuPont. Sean holds a Master’s degree in Plant Molecular Biology from the University of Delaware and dual Bachelor’s degrees in Plant Sciences and Plant Biology from the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia.
