George Mantalas

George Mantalas is a Senior Scientist specializing in Early Stage Process Development at AGC Biologics, with prior experience as a Senior Scientist in Downstream Process Development at DEMO Pharmaceuticals S.A. There, George led the establishment of a new R&D Biotechnology Lab, implemented the 6S methodology, and facilitated tech transfers of therapeutic monoclonal antibodies. George previously held roles as a Lab Manager at RAFARM S.A., where formulation studies for ophthalmic solutions were conducted, and as a Downstream Process Development Scientist at Alvotech, focusing on monoclonal antibodies and fusion proteins. Additional experience includes a position as a Chemical Engineer in the Greek Army, roles in public engagement and crowdfunding, and various internships in research and quality control.
