Giovanni Piedimonte

Giovanni Piedimonte is an accomplished leader in pediatric medicine, currently serving as Vice President and Institutional Official at Tulane University since September 2019. Prior roles include Chief of Global Pediatric Research Operations and Director of the Center for Pediatric Research at Cleveland Clinic, where Giovanni managed extensive budgets, therapy visits, and hospital operations, as well as leading clinical quality and safety initiatives across multiple facilities. Giovanni's previous experience also includes serving as Professor and Chair of the Department of Pediatrics at Case Western Reserve University and holding significant leadership positions at West Virginia University and the University of Miami, where Giovanni established several pioneering pediatric programs. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Sapienza Università di Roma and extensive post-doctoral training in pediatric pulmonary research and residency programs at renowned institutions.
