Serena Simonetti

Serena Simonetti is a Process Transfer Scientist at AGC Biologics since November 2024, previously serving as a Fermentation Scientist at Holiferm from June 2022 to November 2024. Serena completed a PhD in Chemical Engineering at the University of Aberdeen, where also served as a Teaching Assistant for various environmental engineering courses. Prior experience includes roles as a guest student at Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research and internship positions focusing on anaerobic digestion and electrochemical properties at CNR IRSA and other institutions. Serena holds a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Industrial Chemistry from Sapienza Università di Roma, complemented by early educational training in science from Scientific High School "Rummo" in Benevento.
