Payton Montes

Payton Montes is currently serving as a Government Affairs Coordinator at AGC of California since April 2023. Previously, Payton worked as a Teacher for Folsom Cordova Unified School District from October 2021 to April 2023 and held the position of Legislative Fellow at Equality California from January to September 2019. Payton gained valuable experience as an intern for Senator Kamala D. Harris in the United States Senate from April to August 2018 and as a Campaign Intern for Dave Jones' Attorney General campaign from December 2017 to July 2018. Payton earned a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Sociology with a minor in African Studies from UC San Diego, attending from 2019 to 2021.
