Stefan Caspari is Senior Vice President and General Manager, Grain and Protein for AGCO. In his current position, Mr. Caspari leads the global operations, product management, engineering and commercial activities of AGCO’s Grain and Protein division. His priorities include establishing leadership in innovative, smart and reliable grain and protein solutions supporting food security, sustainability and animal welfare. In addition, he is focusing on driving customer profitability and accelerating profitable growth through synergies within the Grain and Protein organization as well as with the rest of AGCO. He is based in Duluth, Georgia, USA.
In his previous roles at AGCO, Mr. Caspari served as the Director, Strategy and Integration at which time he successfully managed the annual strategic business planning processes for Europe, Africa and the Middle East regions. Mr. Caspari also served as the Director, Multi-Brand Strategy and Governance in Europe, Africa and the Middle East establishing target market segments and positioning for the core machinery brands. He was promoted to Vice President, Global Strategy and Integration, responsible for AGCO’s global strategy development, company-wide performance improvement and growth as well as merger and acquisition initiatives. Most recently, he served as Vice President Fuse, Connected Services and Technology, where he drove AGCO’s connected fleet and telemetry strategy as well as the smart farming technology implementation.
Prior to joining AGCO, he held several leadership positions in the areas of sales, marketing and operations in the insurance and consulting industries, including Zurich Financial Services and Arthur D. Little.
Mr. Caspari holds a degree in Agricultural Engineering with majors in Economics and Marketing from the University of Bonn in Germany. He serves at the Board of Director at the German American Chamber of Commerce South.
