Jenny Ro, Ph.D., is a scientist entrepreneur, who brings passion for innovation and domain knowledge in aging research. She worked with many renowned aging researchers in the past, such as Dr. Richard Miller and Dr. Scott Pletcher at University of Michigan.
During her doctorate degree, supported by National Institute of Aging, she uncovered neural mechanisms of dietary restriction and how they impact the rate of aging. After her Ph.D., Jenny extended her scientific interest in understating how body allocates nutrients in different physiological states in the context of cancer and conducted her post-doctoral research with Dr. Nobert Perrimon at Harvard Medical School. She published 14 peer-reviewed papers, received 6 prestigious awards including two NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Awards and an American Federation for Aging Research Scholarship.
Jenny is also an inventor of research tools and successfully commercialized her own inventions. Currently she is a COO and a co-founder of Curious Reactor, a software platform to bring out more untapped health innovation to the world faster by connecting innovation creators and consumers in the life science space.
