Roman Niedbal

Roman Niedbal has extensive work experience in various roles across multiple companies. Roman is currently the Vice President & Managing Director EMEA at Agena Bioscience since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the CEO of Abviris Deutschland GmbH from November 2020 to December 2021. At Sysmex Europe, they held several positions including Vice President, Head of Business Lines & Medical Innovation from January 2019 to November 2020. Roman also served as Vice President New Business Development from June 2017 to December 2018, Vice President Marketing Haematology & Flow Cytometry from February 2015 to April 2018, and Vice President Direct Response Diagnostics from February 2011 to January 2015. Additionally, they worked as the Managing Director at HITADO GmbH from April 2012 to March 2017. Roman started their career as a Management Consultant at Mercuri Urval from October 2010 to February 2011. Prior to that, they were the Geschäftsführer at z54 Consulting GmbH from November 2009 to September 2010. Earlier in their career, they held roles such as Vertriebsleiter Deutschland and Gebietsleiter at HUMAN Gesellschaft für Biochemica und Diagnostica mbH from October 2006 to October 2009, and from November 2005 to September 2006 respectively. Roman also worked as a Gebietsleiter at Biotrin International GmbH from November 2003 to October 2005, and in Target Research at Bayer CropScience from November 2001 to October 2003.

Roman Niedbal obtained an MBA degree in Marketing from FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management from 2007 to 2009. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Biologie and obtained a Promotion from the University of Düsseldorf between 1992 and 2001.
