Bastien Richard is an experienced professional in the fields of water management, hydrology, and agroecology. Currently serving as the head of the Direction des aides et de l’expertise at agence de l'eau Adour-Garonne since October 2021, Bastien Richard has also held various research positions at INRAE since October 2016, including Associate Researcher and Research Fellow. Prior experience includes roles as a Scientific Cooperation Officer at the Ministère de l'Europe et des Affaires étrangères, an International Consultant at IWMI-CGIAR, and a Junior Project Officer at UNEP-Plan bleu, among others. Bastien Richard holds a PhD in Water Sciences from AgroParisTech, an Agronomist Engineer degree from ENSAT, and a Master’s degree in Law and Political Sciences from Sciences Po Toulouse. Additionally, an international study program was completed at the University of Otago in New Zealand.
