Craig Umscheid

Craig Umscheid, MD, MS is a Director at the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality overseeing the Center for Quality Improvement and Patient Safety. Craig is also a Senior Science Advisor and Adjunct Professor of Medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. Previously, Craig served as Chief Quality and Innovation Officer at UChicago Medicine and held various roles at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine. Craig holds a MS in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine and a MD from Georgetown University School of Medicine.
