Kathy Vandenmeersschaut

Kathy Vandenmeersschaut currently serves as Administrateur-generaal at Agentschap Wegen en Verkeer, a position held since August 2022. Prior to this, Vandenmeersschaut was Adjunct-kabinetschef and Raadgever Openbare Werken at the Kabinet Vlaams minister van Mobiliteit en Openbare Werken Lydia Peeters from October 2019 to August 2022. Vandenmeersschaut also contributed as a board member at Vlaanderen connect. from April 2018 to September 2021, and held various departmental leadership roles at the Departement Mobiliteit en Openbare Werken from April 2006 to October 2019, including the role of Afdelingshoofd - Algemene Technische Ondersteuning. Earlier experience includes positions at the Agentschap Geografische Informatie and the Departement Leefmilieu en Infrastructuur. Vandenmeersschaut’s academic credentials include a Master’s degree in Burgerlijk ingenieur Bouwkunde and an Aggregaat secundair onderwijs en hoger onderwijs, both from Ghent University, along with a secondary education diploma in Latijn-Wiskunde from O.L.V.-instituut Oudenaarde.
