Mary Moore-Simmons

Mary Moore-Simmons is the current VP of Software Engineering at AgentSync. Mary has also previously served as the Director of Engineering at both GitHub and Zcash Company. Prior to that, they were the Engineering Operations Manager at SendGrid from August 2013 to June 2018.

At SendGrid, Mary was responsible for managing multiple engineering teams and leading the DevOps department. Mary also managed all budgets and purchasing for both the Engineering and DevOps departments, which totaled up to $40M. Under their leadership, Mary successfully directed an effort to migrate SendGrid's infrastructure from a colocated hosting environment to AWS.

In addition to their managerial duties, Mary was also responsible for driving process creation and improvement, engineering best practices, metrics collection/reporting, business case modeling, and quarterly/yearly planning for both the Engineering and DevOps departments at SendGrid. Mary's experience and leadership skills have made their an invaluable asset to AgentSync.

Mary Moore-Simmons completed a B.S. in engineering at Harvey Mudd College and went on to earn a master's certificate in project management from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Mary is also certified as a Scrum Master by the Scrum Alliance.

Their manager is Jenn Knight, Co-Founder & CTO.
