Emmanuel Briend

Emmanuel Briend has extensive work experience in the field of antibody discovery and immunotherapeutics. Emmanuel started their career at Cantab Pharmaceuticals as a Post-Doc, where they conducted research on costimulatory molecules and the intracellular delivery of therapeutic molecules. Emmanuel then moved to Celldex Therapeutics (formerly Lorantis), where they worked as a Senior Scientist on projects related to therapeutic vaccines and the Notch pathway. At MedImmune, Emmanuel held the position of Senior Scientist and was responsible for project leadership, strategic direction, and scientific support in the development of pre-clinical targets. Emmanuel also participated in translational science, clinical sub-teams, and target biology investigations. Emmanuel's most recent role was as an Associate Director of Antibody Discovery at Agenus, where they continued to contribute to antibody discovery and research. Emmanuel has a track record of successful people management and development, as well as extensive experience in cross-therapy area and cross-site collaborations.

Emmanuel Briend earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Immunology from Paris-Sud University (Paris XI) between 1992 and 1996.
