Mahadev Jayaram

Mahadev Jayaram has worked as a Computer Vision Engineer at AGEYE Technologies since December 2022. In this role, they developed and implemented computer vision models for object detection, segmentation, and tracking, resulting in a 25% increase in accuracy compared to previous models. Mahadev also demonstrated a 40% reduction in system cost by replacing expensive LiDAR sensors with real-time depth estimation and stereovision models. Mahadev utilized AWS cloud computing services and Docker for parallel processing and easy deployment.

Prior to this, Mahadev worked as a Machine Learning Engineer at Tata Elxsi from January 2022 to December 2022. In this role, they created a tool for generating synthetic data using 3D CAD models, reducing effort and time in capturing real-world data. Mahadev also played a significant role in developing an annotation tool using Aruco markers that reduced data annotating time by 90%. Mahadev developed and fine-tuned algorithms like PoseCNN and EfficientPose to handle texture-less objects, incorporating augmentation and regularization techniques to mitigate overfitting.

Mahadev Jayaram pursued their Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering from 2017 to 2021. Recently, Mahadev has also obtained several certifications including Generative AI Fundamentals and Transformer Models from Google Cloud Skills Boost in June 2023, as well as certifications in Computer Vision Essentials and Statistical Learning from Great Learning in May 2023.
