Dries Geentjens

Dries Geentjens is a seasoned professional in automation and artificial intelligence, currently serving as Team Leader for Automation & AI at Agfa since March 2019, where responsibilities include the development of software concepts based on Industry 4.0 and implementation of MES projects using C# and Oracle. Prior experience includes positions as a Senior Commissioning Engineer at ADB SAFEGATE, where Dries focused on the deployment and testing of aerospace systems, and as a Solution Architect MES at Agidens, developing scheduling systems and optimizing production processes. Dries began a career in engineering with roles at Atlas Copco Airpower and DEME Group, gaining expertise in system modeling, PLC logic design, and project commissioning. Academic credentials include a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from KU Leuven and a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
