Xochitl Lopez-Rendon

Xochitl Lopez-Rendon currently holds the position of Senior Application Expert Radiology at Agfa Radiology Solutions since September 2021. Previously, Xochitl worked as a Medical Physicist at the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía from February 2018 to December 2020, and as a Scientific Collaborator at GE Healthcare from January 2017 to January 2018. Xochitl's career began as a PhD candidate at KU Leuven from October 2012 to October 2016, after which Xochitl served again as a Medical Physicist at the Instituto Nacional de Neurología y Neurocirugía from April 2010 to September 2011. Xochitl specializes in diagnostic Radiology, particularly in quality assurance for Computed Tomography and Magnetic Resonance. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Medical Physics from KU Leuven (2012-2016), a Diploma in Biomedical Sciences from KU Leuven (2011-2012), a Master’s Degree in Medical Physics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2008-2010), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (2002-2007).
