Arnav Akula

Arnav Akula is a Computer Science and Statistics undergraduate at the University of California, Davis, with extensive experience in cloud infrastructure, software development, and project management in various tech environments. Currently serving as a Cloud Infrastructure Engineering Intern at UC Davis and an intern at Rubitection Inc. where Arnav developed a patient management console, Akula also holds a position in the AI Student Collective as a Software Developer in Research & Development, conducting significant research on credit card fraud detection. Additionally, Arnav has led multiple projects as Technical Project Manager for Aggie Sports Analytics, including the creation of VolleyViz and a scouting tool for the UC Davis baseball team, along with contributions to various AI/ML projects in sports analytics. Previous experience includes an internship at VenueLytics.ai, where automated data pipelines were built to enhance sentiment analysis in hotel reviews.
