Eric Richards

Eric Richards serves as the Vice President of Defense Growth at Agile Defense since January 2019, leading the development and management of the Defense vertical pipeline while mentoring a team focused on corporate growth strategy. Previously, Eric held roles such as Strategic Programs Director for the Army and Operations Director at Agile Defense, overseeing key accounts and IT services for Federal and DoD customers. Prior experience includes serving as the Vice President of Business Development and Operations at DirectViz Solutions, where Eric developed sales strategies and managed substantial contracting efforts. Earlier positions include Site Lead at Leidos, Technical Subject Matter Expert at Deployable Data Solutions, and Field Artillery Officer in the US Army, where responsibilities included personnel management for a large Brigade Combat Team. Eric holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Excelsior University.
