Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Solution Architect with a focus on applications, to join the Solutions Delivery team. This role is integral to the company's ongoing transformation, driving the development of innovative solutions and applications that address various use cases across the organisation. The Solutions Delivery team is responsible for responding to requests from the broader business, particularly in the areas of Property Investment, Building and Building Management, and Operations and Finance.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Solution Architecture: Develop high-level solution designs that align with the company’s digital transformation goals. Focus on how applications integrate with existing infrastructure and meet broader business needs.
  • Requirements Capture: Work closely with business stakeholders to capture requirements and translate them into effective, scalable solutions.
  • Buy vs. Build Decisions: Evaluate and recommend whether to purchase SaaS solutions or develop custom applications (e.g., using Power Platform).
  • Integration & Cloud Strategy: Design solutions that integrate seamlessly with existing systems and infrastructure, primarily hosted on Azure.
  • Cross-Domain Expertise: Provide strategic guidance across Property Investment, Building Management, and Operations/Finance, ensuring flexibility in addressing various use cases.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with both technical and business teams to ensure the successful implementation of solutions.

Requirements

  • Technical Background: Strong technical foundation with experience in application architecture, cloud technologies (primarily Azure), and system integration.
  • Business & Technical Analysis: Proven ability to perform both technical and business analysis, bridging the gap between business needs and technical solutions.
  • Domain Expertise: Ideally, experience in Property Investment, Building Management, and Finance systems. Familiarity with key systems such as MRI (Property Finance), BPC (SAP Business Planning and Consolidation), and ArcGIS Enterprise is a plus.
  • Agile Methodology: Comfortable working within an Agile framework, with a flexible, adaptive approach to solving problems.
