Allen Vickers

Allen Vickers is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in both the brewing and food service industries. As the Owner and Meat Master at Placerville Brewing Company, LLC since December 2007, Allen combines a passion for brewing with culinary expertise. Additionally, as the Owner of Hill Country Texas BBQ, LLC since October 2005, Allen specializes in catering Texas-style BBQ for various occasions. Allen's background in chemistry includes roles as an Applications Chemist at Agilent Technologies since November 1993, Manager of Applied Science at J&W Scientific, Inc. from 1999 to 2001, and Chemist at OI Analytical from June 1985 to November 1993. Allen holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Chemistry from Sam Houston State University, where education was completed between 1976 and 1985.
