Nick Wills

Nick Wills has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Nick began their career as a Solicitor at James & Wells, where they drafted patent specifications and provided legal advice on intellectual property matters. Nick then worked as a Legal Adviser at British Airways, where they negotiated commercial contracts for the supply of goods and services.

Nick then joined Logica as a Legal Counsel, where they were responsible for closing large-scale deals and advising on mergers and acquisitions. Nick also managed due diligence, negotiated agreements, and ensured antitrust compliance.

After Logica, Nick worked as the Legal Director at Renesas Electronics Europe, advising the CEO and the C-suite on corporate and commercial legal matters. Nick also performed the company secretarial function and provided consultancy as Senior Legal Counsel.

Following Renesas, Nick held the position of Corporate Counsel at Cognizant Technology Solutions, where they supported business development teams in contract negotiation and closing. Nick then served as UK Commercial Counsel at Vue Entertainment, offering legal advice on various practice areas and drafting contracts for the supply of goods and services.

Nick joined BNP Paribas as a Legal Counsel, focusing on procurement matters for the CIB banking division and advising on major commercial projects. Nick currently works at AgileOne as Assistant General Counsel & Head of Privacy, providing legal advice on all matters outside the US and offering strategic guidance to top management.

Throughout their career, Nick has demonstrated expertise in contract negotiation, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property, and compliance.

Nick Wills completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from The University of Waikato from 1992 to 1994. Subsequently, they pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree specializing in Law from the same university from 1995 to 1997.
