Sebastian Schenk has a long and varied work experience. In 2004, they began their career as a Software Process Manager at Siemens Program & System Engineering. In 2006, they then moved to Siemens Medical as a Junior Consultant. In 2007, they joined Bayer Business Consulting as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for consulting projects in IT-offshoring, strategy implementation, supply chain management and market entry in Germany, India, China and Japan. In 2010, they moved to energy factory St. Gallen AG as a Senior Consultant, where they worked on projects in organizational development, leadership and change management. In 2011, they joined BASF as the Director Digitalization of Businesses, where they were responsible for leading a team and right-sizing service levels. Sebastian was also the Director Digitalization of Businesses for the Asia Pacific region, where they identified opportunities for digitalization in the chemical industry and initiated projects to pilot and roll-out new applications of digital technologies. In addition, they were the Global Product Manager for “Digital Ecosystems” and the Director Management Consulting for the Asia Pacific region. In 2022, they joined Agilis Commerce as the Director of Customer Engagement.

Sebastian Schenk obtained a Master of Business Administration - MBA from Collège des Ingénieurs in 2006-2007, specializing in Business Administration and Management, General. Sebastian also earned a M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute in 2003-2006, with a field of study in Computer Software Engineering. During 2004-2005, they studied Chinese Language and Sebastian'story at Nanjing University. Prior to that, they completed a B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Hasso Plattner Institute in 1999-2003. In addition, they hold certifications from the LUMA Institute, Scrum Alliance, BASF, and other institutions, including Certified Practitioner of Human-Centered Design (Design Thinking), Scrum Master Certified (SMC), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), and BASF Certified Internal Coach.
