Laurence Moscardini, Ph.D

Laurence Moscardini, PhD has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Laurence currently serves as a CXO & UX Researcher at Agilitest, where they lead a team responsible for ensuring the overall user experience quality of their software. Additionally, Laurence directs research activities aimed at rethinking their functional test automation tool by incorporating elements of UX, AI, and gamification.

Prior to their role at Agilitest, Laurence worked as a Psychanalyste at a private cabinet, where they participated in seminars on child guidance and psychopathology. Laurence also worked as a disc jockey during this time.

Laurence has also held positions as an Enseignante at the Università di Corsica Pasquale Paoli and the Université de Nîmes, where they taught and created pedagogical content on topics such as cognitive psychology and creativity.

In addition, they worked as an Ergonome at ARACT-ANACT, where they conducted studies and provided support to companies and institutions in their digital transformation efforts. Laurence also collaborated with various organizations, such as the DIRECCTE Corse and the Service de Santé au Travail de Haute-Corse, on webinars and workshops related to teleworking.

Laurence has extensive experience as a Freelance User Experience Researcher, utilizing their expertise in cognitive psychology ergonomics and UX research to provide services such as ergonomic audits, design thinking, user testing, and IHM design assistance.

Laurence has also worked as a Psychologue at CIBC CORSE, where they were responsible for facilitating group workshops focused on the reintegration of disabled workers into the workforce.

Earlier in their career, Laurence served as an Enseignante at Université Paris Nanterre and worked as an Ingénieure d’études en ergonomie cognitive at Lutin User Lab. In these roles, they conducted applied research projects in the field of ergonomics, collaborating with researchers from various institutions and industrial partners.

Laurence Moscardini, PhD, obtained a Doctorat in Psychologie, spécialité Psychologie Cognitive et Ergonomique from Université Paris 8 between 2008 and 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Master professionnel in Psychologie cognitive ergonomique from Aix-Marseille University between 2006 and 2007. In 2005, Laurence attained a Master 1 in Psychologie from the same institution. It is unclear when they obtained their Licence in Psychologie from Aix-Marseille University as the start and end years are not provided.

In addition to their academic achievements, Laurence acquired a certification in Design graphique des interfaces from Usabilis - L'UX pour les pros in March 2022.
