Scott Hind

Scott Hind has a diverse work experience. Scott started their career as a Geographic Information Systems Technician at the BC Agricultural Land Commission in 2014 and later worked as a Geographic Information Systems Coordinator at Fisheries and Oceans Canada in 2015. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Geomatics Technologist at the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. In 2019, they had co-op roles as a Data Analyst and Data Engineer at Unbounce. Scott then joined Unbounce full-time in 2020 as a Machine Learning Engineer and progressed to the roles of Senior Machine Learning Engineer and Technical Lead. Currently, they are working as a Machine Learning Operations Engineering Lead at Agiloft, starting in 2023. Throughout their career, Scott also served as a Developer & Research Assistant at Simon Fraser University from 2014 to 2019.

Scott Hind completed their education at Simon Fraser University. Scott obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science from 2018 to 2020, after completing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from 2017 to 2018. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a Co-operative Education program from 2011 to 2017. During this time, they also earned a Certificate in Spatial Information Systems from 2014 to 2017.
