Jay Zdunek D.O., M.B.A. has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry.

Starting in 1996, Jay worked as a physician at Tri-State Medical Group, where they prioritized patient satisfaction and practice growth. Jay later became the Chairman of the group from 2006 to 2012.

In 2012, Jay took on multiple roles at Heritage Valley Health System, including Co-Chairman, Transitional Care Director, and Case Management Medical Advisor. During their time there, they focused on strategic planning, financial operations, business development, and improving the transition of care process.

In 2015, Jay joined Austin Regional Clinic (ARC) as a Senior Medical Director. Jay successfully implemented process improvements to increase productivity and revenue, developed new business ventures, and utilized data-driven insights to improve clinical quality. Jay later served as the Associate Chief Medical Officer and ultimately as the Chief Medical Officer, where they drove results for clinical productivity, coding compliance, and telemedicine.

Currently, Jay is working at agilon health as a Clinical Partner Consultant, responsible for supporting and advising clinical partners. Jay will soon transition into the role of VP Clinical Partners.

Throughout their career, Jay has demonstrated a strong commitment to healthcare delivery, business development, and improving patient outcomes.

Jay Zdunek D.O., M.B.A. obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in PreMed Studies from the University of Dayton, which they attended from 1976 to 1980. Jay then pursued their Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine from 1981 to 1985. Later, Jay earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) degree in Health Care from The George Washington University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. In terms of certifications, they obtained medical licenses from the State Medical Board of Ohio in October 2019, the Texas Medical Board in August 2015, and the PA Board of Medical Licensure in December 2020. Additionally, Jay Zdunek D.O., M.B.A. is a Board Certified Family Medicine practitioner, certified by the American Board of Osteopathic Family Practice.
