Shubham Prasad

Shubham Prasad has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Shubham began their career as an Engineer Trainee at DRDO, Centre for Airborne Systems in 2017. In 2018, they joined SPI Incubator as a Technology Innovator for a brief period. Later in the same year, they started working at Apollo Tyres Ltd as a Graduate Engineering Trainee. Shubham then advanced to the role of Scientist, Advanced Engineering, where they were responsible for communication between instruments, programming data retrieval, and web app frontend/UI development. In 2021, Shubham joined Agilysys as a Research Scientist, focusing on machine learning. Shubham worked on a project involving the development of AI-powered express self-checkout kiosks in foodservice management. Shubham'sresponsibilities included training, validating, and testing models for item detection using computer vision techniques such as YOLOv3, YOLOv4, and YOLOv5. In 2022, they were promoted to the role of Senior Research Scientist at Agilysys, where they continue to contribute their expertise in machine learning.

Shubham Prasad completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation and Control from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology in the years 2014 to 2018. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications over the years, including Azure Devops Crash Course - Build CI/CD release pipelines from Udemy in July 2023, Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals from Microsoft in June 2023, Data Analysis Using Python and Python for Data Science from IBM in July 2020, and various online trainings from Internshala on topics such as Android, Core Java, Hacking, Python, VLSI Design using VHDL, Web Development, Internet of Things, and Robotics, all obtained between the years 2015 and 2016.
