Michael Palte

Michael Palte has a diverse work experience in the medical and research fields. Michael currently holds the position of Medical Director, Early Clinical Development at Agios Pharmaceuticals. Prior to joining Agios Pharmaceuticals, they worked at Biogen as an Associate Medical Director, Clinical Development and also served as a Principal Scientist. Before that, they were a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard. Michael began their career as a Clinical Pathology Resident at Brigham and Women's Hospital and completed their MD/PhD at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Michael Palte attended the University of Michigan from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biochemistry. Michael then continued their education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning an MD/PhD degree in Pharmacology and graduating in 2014. In 2007, they also received a PhD in Molecular & Cellular Pharmacology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
