Scott Tanzer

Scott Tanzer has diverse work experience in talent acquisition and recruiting roles. Scott currently serves as the Associate Director and Head of Talent Acquisition at Agios Pharmaceuticals since August 2022. Prior to that, they held senior manager and manager positions in talent acquisition at Agios Pharmaceuticals from March 2021 to August 2022, and from August 2019 to March 2021, respectively. Before joining Agios Pharmaceuticals, Scott worked as a Senior Recruiter and Recruiter at Analysis Group from January 2019 to July 2019, and from September 2017 to December 2018, respectively. Scott also worked as a Recruiter and Sourcing Specialist at Cambridge Associates from August 2015 to August 2017. Scott started their career at Stewart Talent, where they served as a Talent Agent for Film/TV/Theatre from February 2012 to February 2015, in addition to holding junior talent agent and assistant roles. Scott also worked briefly as a Casting Coordinator at Warner Bros. Entertainment in 2008 and as a Casting Intern in 2007.

Scott Tanzer earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Drama and Dramatics/Theatre Arts, General from New York University, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. Scott also briefly attended the Shanghai Theatre Academy in 2007, during which they focused on Beijing Opera and Mandarin.
