Stewart S. is an experienced Quality Assurance professional with a strong background in the biopharmaceutical industry, currently serving as Associate Director of GMP QA at Agios Pharmaceuticals since February 2025. Previously, Stewart held the position of Associate Director of Quality Assurance Operations at Rentschler Biopharma SE, where responsibilities included overseeing manufacturing operations and serving as the Quality point of contact for multiple commercial products. Prior to that, Stewart worked at Alnylam Pharmaceuticals for five years in various leadership roles, including Associate Director of Quality Assurance, where oversight of the GMP compliance programs was paramount. Earlier experience includes quality and operational management positions at Vertex Pharmaceuticals and Sanofi, along with foundational roles at Centocor. Stewart holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Muhlenberg College.
