Elizabeth Donaghey

Betsy has over 30 years' experience in the energy sector across a broad range of organisations, including ASX listed companies and government agencies, and in both Non-Executive Director and senior executive positions. Her previous executive roles include technical and commercial roles, and her Non-Executive Director roles include extensive experience on audit and compliance, risk, technical, regulatory, remuneration and health and safety committees.

Betsy has a deep knowledge and understanding of the Australian energy industry, including significant experience advising on the energy transition as a Board member of the Australian Renewable Energy Agency and as a panel member to the Solar Flagship Council, and extensive markets and systems experience from her time on the Australian Energy Market Operator Board.

In addition to Betsy’s significant energy industry experience, she has considerable expertise and experience in delivering large projects and risk management, including in relation to health and safety management and performance. Betsy also has strong capabilities in the assessment and management of risks and opportunities associated with the energy transition, including climate risks and the implementation of new technologies.
