Tim Yates

Tim Yates is an experienced operations manager with a strong background in mechanical engineering and asset management, currently serving as Operations Manager for Wind at AGL since February 2020. Previous roles at AGL included Station Maintenance Manager and Mechanical Engineering Superintendent, focusing on technical analysis and asset management at Loy Yang Power Station. Tim's prior experience at Transfield Worley Power Services involved managing steam cycle asset operations and auxiliary fuel handling systems. Tim has also worked as an Energy Efficiency Engineer at AGL, focusing on thermal efficiency improvements across multiple power stations, and conducted commercial review analysis for tender bids at Worley. Tim holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from RMIT University.
