Basavaraj Patil's work experience began in 2016 as a Research Associate at the Central Research Institute for Dryland Agriculture. Basavaraj then worked as a Research Associate at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore from 2017 to 2018. In 2018, they became a Training Associate at the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj. From 2019 to 2021, they served as a Senior Research Fellow at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore. Currently, they are employed as an Agronomy Research Specialist and Data Analyst at agmatix starting in 2021.
Basavaraj Patil completed their Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Agronomy and Crop Science at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Dharwad from 2013 to 2016. Prior to that, from 2007 to 2011, they obtained a Bachelor of Science - BS degree in Agriculture from the University of Agricultural Science Raichur. Subsequently, they pursued a Post Graduate program in Agronomy and Crop Science at the University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore from 2011 to 2013.
