Scott Payant

Scott Payant is an experienced professional in the mining and process plant operations field, currently serving as the Process Plant Operations Supervisor at Agnico Eagle Mines Limited since February 2016. Prior to this role, Scott worked as a Process Plant Operator at Detour Gold Corporation, contributing to the commissioning of Canada's largest gold mine, and held various positions at Agrium's Kapuskasing Phosphate Operations from December 2006 to October 2012, where responsibilities included control room operations and supervision. Scott holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Industrial Maintenance Technician from Cambrian College and completed The Professional Supervisor Course at Queen's University.
