Abhilash Rai

Abhilash Rai has a broad range of experience in human resources, spanning over 10 years. Their most recent position was as the Director of Human Resources Operations at Agnos Inc., starting in March 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Embibe as a Senior Human Resources Manager from January 2022 to February 2023. In this role, they provided leadership and expertise to a team of 2000+ employees and was responsible for setting up a new HR Shared Services Model. Abhilash also managed payroll and statutory complaints for employees in Bangalore, Mumbai, and Gujarat, and served as a strategic business partner, driving important strategic HR initiatives.

Before their time at Embibe, Abhilash worked as an HR Operations Compliance Manager at OVHcloud from May 2018 to December 2021, where they ramped up the HR strategy for a startup and developed policies and guidelines. Abhilash also served as a Process Lead for HR Shared Services APAC & EMEA at AXA from July 2017 to April 2018, and as an APAC HR & Payroll professional at Adobe from April 2015 to June 2017.

Abhilash's earlier experiences include working as a Human Resources Team Lead at ANZ from December 2013 to March 2015, and as a Senior Process Associate at CCI from August 2011 to November 2013. Overall, Abhilash has a proven track record of successfully managing HR operations, driving strategic initiatives, and developing policies and procedures.

Abhilash Rai completed a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Human Resources Management/Personnel Administration, General from Bangalore University in 2011. In 2021, Abhilash pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Organizational Leadership from both the Institute of Management Technology in Ghaziabad and Liverpool John Moores University.
