James Barry

Dr. James Barry is the president and chief executive officer of InspireMD, a medical technology company focused on solving the problem of embolization in high-risk vascular procedures. Prior to joining InspireMD, Dr. Barry was the president and chief executive officer of Arsenal Medical, a platform technology company developing novel polymer-based foams and fibers. Previously, Dr. Barry held a variety of senior positions at Boston Scientific, including senior vice president of corporate technology development. Under Dr. Barry’s leadership, the TAXUS™ drug-eluting coronary stent was developed and became the most successful medical device ever launched, attaining annual sales of $3 billion.
