Dasun Nirmitha

Dasun Nirmitha has extensive work experience in the software development and technical writing fields. Dasun started their career as a Trainee Associate Software Engineer at Zone24x7 in 2014 and worked there until 2018. Dasun then worked as a Software Engineer at Zincat Technologies from October 2018 to February 2019. Following that, Dasun worked as an Outsourced Senior Software Engineer at Dialog Axiata PLC from March 2019 to July 2019. Dasun also worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Just In Time Group (Sri Lanka) during the same period. In 2019, Dasun joined Aeturnum as a Software Engineer and worked there until March 2020. From March 2020 to December 2020, they worked as a Content Writer at Stack Abuse. In 2020, Dasun also worked as an English(US/UK) Technical Writer at Upwork, specializing in technical writing and software development. In May 2020, they joined Lokalise as a Technical Writer. Currently, Dasun is working as a Freelancing Contract Technical Writer at Agora since April 2022.

Dasun Nirmitha has a diverse education history starting from their high school education at Ananda College in Colombo 10. Dasun completed their high school education from 2004 to 2012, focusing on combined mathematics as their field of study.

In 2013, Dasun enrolled in the University of Westminster and the Informatics Institute of Technology simultaneously. Dasun pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering at both institutions. This study period lasted until 2018. The degree obtained from the University of Westminster was a BEng. (Hons) Software Engineering, while the degree obtained from the Informatics Institute of Technology was a BEng (Hons) Software Engineering as well.
