Yixiong Tang

Yixiong Tang has extensive work experience in the field of software engineering. They are currently employed at Agora as a Software Engineer since April 2021. Prior to this, Yixiong worked at Bloomberg LP for over four years as a Software Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a distributed identity system using various technologies such as C++, Python, Kafka, Comdb2, PostgreSQL, and Redis. They also implemented an identity hierarchy to showcase the relationships between different identities. Before joining Bloomberg LP, Yixiong worked as a Summer Intern at Synopsys Inc in 2015 and as an Intern Web Programmer at INESA R&D Center in 2014. Their earliest work experience was as a Research Assistant at Shanghai Jiao Tong University from September 2012 to April 2014.

Yixiong Tang completed a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2010 to 2014. Following that, from 2014 to 2016, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Michigan.
